mASCot’s Teen+ Club launched in Sept 2017 and has swiftly become a roaring success! There are young people and and young adults currently attending of an age range from 13+ to 21.

mASCot's Inbetweeners Club launched in October 2021 and is a lovely compliment to our Teen+ club for our younger children.

Teen+ and The Inbetweeners sessions run every Thursday evening during term time

This is a space where our young people can spend time with others of a similar age and be supported to make social connections, in a safe, accepting, understanding space where they can be free from the pressures and judgments of the neurotypical environments. We aim for our club to be a somewhere they can really be themselves.

Every week you will find:　

-pool

-ping pong

-table football

-supported ‘getting to know you’ conversations and activities

-board games

-arts and crafts activities

-music and a regular disco slot!

There are 2 breakout areas for calmer activities or chilling out, plus a kitchen for hot drinks - which a nice area for parents and carers to hang out and chat with each other. All activities are optional.　

We believe that our young people should be shaping what happens here, so we gather together at the beginning of every session to share ideas for future activities.　

We have an awesome and dedicated team of volunteers who help us to run activities.

We invite a regular rota of guest youth practitioners along to lead a range of arts and social schemes for our Club members.

Teen+ Club is open to mASCot members only. We are fully insured for teens/young adults to be left with us. We are NOT able to provide 1:1 support for individual young people so if they need higher level of support, or if your young person is more comfortable with a known adult around, then then parent/carers are very welcome to stay.
