Social
Stories
Trying to teach an autistic child/young person new skills or understanding of a a new milestone is always difficult, our children should be able to navigate the world around them in their own way but some scenarios will always need the help of a social story to explain things in a more broken down understandable way for our children and young adults

Understanding the Spectrum
This brilliant, clear comic strip is a great visual way to describe the Autism Spectrum to your family & friends or to your child when explaining about Autism. It makes you rethink how the spectrum is and shows a better understanding of the Autism Spectrum. When you've met one Autisic person, you've met one Autistic person.

During a bout of depression a young lady wrote a desperate letter to Stephen Fry. "I had no idea who to turn to. But I really needed someone to turn to and to ease the pain. So I wrote to Stephen Fry because he is my hero, and he has been through this himself. And low and behold, he replied to my letter, and I will love him eternally for this."
