If you would like to join, Your involvement need only be by
contributing your experience and ideas through brief telephone or postal
surveys or attending one-off events around issues that are relevant to
you and your family's needs. Amaze manages the Compass Card and the Compass database for Brighton & Hove Children's Services.The
Compass Card provides a range of free and discounted leisure across the
city – including free family swimming, free gym for 16 to 19s and free
parent carer tickets at the Duke of York's and the Odeon cinemas. To receive a form by post call the helpline on 01273 772289 or online by clicking the Compass icon. A free card available for carers caring for someone living in the
city, giving discounts on a range of leisure and other activities across
Brighton & Hove.Carers are people who provide regular unpaid help or support to
people – often relatives, friends or neighbours – who have a disability,
mental health problem or long-term illness.If you care for someone who is over 18, call the council’s adult social care access point on 01273 295555 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you care for someone who is under 18, call the council’s integrated child development and disability team on 01273 295153.
The CEA Card is for UK cinemas in order to allow
people with disabilities to obtain one free ticket for a person
accompanying them to the cinema.
To apply for the card, you will need to meet one or both of the following criteria:
a) Be in receipt of the disability living allowance or attendance allowance;
b) Be a registered blind person. Apply online be clicking CEA icon or call the enquiry line: 0845 123 1292.
